I've just had my first radio interview. Never having done one before and not knowing what to expect I was naturally nervous. - 'try treating it as a phone call', a well-meaning friend said. Mmmm. The interviewer was a honey. She was perfectly natural and soon had me more at ease. I think it went well considering.
She posed 3 big questions that I managed to answer without disgracing myself and then some smaller more personal ones. Best of all she remembered what to ask, where to lead in and gave me the necessary opening for each topic. She even remembered that I am doing a book signing event on Saturday July 25th at Borders Bookshop, West Quay, Southampton and she's promised to be there for her own signed copy. Oh in case I forget the radio was Unity 101 Southampton and the interviewer was Nicky.
